Chili Cook Off!

Thanks to all the Rotarians and Rotaractors, family and friends that came to show their support and love at our 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off. We are extremely happy to report that we eaised over $1700 during the event, proceeds which will benefit the YMCA Shih Yu-Lang Central in the Tenderloin. Another great aspect is that all donations will be matched by a silent donor.  If you would like to contribute you can do so by clicking on our website and following the Paypal Instructions below. 826 Valencia – College Essays/Personal Statement Weekend

When: October 29 & 30 from 1p-6p (training directly before event at 12p if you have never tutored with 826 Valencia)
Where: Mission High School (18th Street @ Dolores Park, between Dolores & Church streets
How: sign up to tutor by emailing workshops@826valencia.org with your full name, email, phone number and which date/time you wish to attend during this weekend.
What: Sit on-on-one with high school students and help them write and correct their personal statement essays for college applications.

GO Fashion Show – Volunteers Needed!

When: Thursday, September 29, from about 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Where:  1417 15th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103
GO needs some volunteers for their upcoming Fundraiser, Define Beauty Fashion Show, either before or during the Event including:  Host, Guest Check-In Attendant, Coat Check-In Attendant, GO Booth Attendants, Caterer/Server or Bartender/Bar Assistant.  This fundraiser will help fund and provide clean water to over 4,000 people in Tanzania! All volunteers will recieve a special gift bag, food, drink and a big HUG thank you!
